Prototype & Build

Welcome to the Prototype & Build Dashboard, where you can take the final steps to prototype and build your app effortlessly. This dashboard is divided into two sections: Prototype and Build.

Prototype

In the Prototype section, you can test your app before submitting it to app stores. After designing your app and configuring its build pages such as settings and nav-bar, you can prototype your app on our unique Reptile Preview app. Prototype testing allows you to ensure that your app functions as intended and provides a seamless user experience. Download the Reptile Preview app from Google Play Store to begin testing. Share your prototype with clients for their approval before finalising the app.

On this dashboard, you'll find convenient shortcuts to download the Reptile Preview app from Google Play Store. These buttons provide quick access to test your app on your or your client's device and obtain sign-off.

To share your app designs with clients for approval, ensure they've been added as team members. For instructions on how to add team members, visit the Team section of the Gitbook documentation. This allows clients to easily access and test the app on their own devices before giving sign-off.

Build

The Build section streamlines the process of transforming your app from design to store-ready deployment with minimal effort. With our unique software, all you need to do is name your app, upload an app icon, and click Create app. From there, the system automates the entire build process, preparing your app for submission to the app stores.

Seamlessly Transform Your Designs into Store-Ready Apps

This is where the magic happens. All the designs, content, and functionality you’ve created are automatically compiled into a native app. Our build pipelines take about 20 minutes to run, generating iOS and Android apps that are ready for submission.

In comparison to the old, manual way of compiling apps, which could take up to two weeks of fiddly work, our system saves time and effort. We’ve eliminated much of the complexity and hassle, leaving users with a streamlined process.

No-Code Done Right

There’s often a misunderstanding about no-code and low-code platforms. At their best, these platforms do two special things:

  1. Empower Users They put design and visual setup directly in the hands of the app owner or their agency, allowing them to do as much as possible. This gives them maximum control and saves money by minimizing the need for developers.

  2. Automate Routine Work They automate any routine or processing tasks, letting the machine handle what developers previously had to do manually.

With Reptile, neither of these efficiencies restricts the type or complexity of the apps being built. Whether simple or highly complex, enterprise-grade applications, our platform makes the build process much more efficient.
